岗位职责

Purpose of Job•To provide general assistance to Chinese and Foreign teaching staff throughout HLD•To contribute to the learning and teaching activities in HLD•Supervise & assist children under the direction of the teacher•To prepare materials & equipment for classroom activitiesDuties and Responsibilities•Render assistance to expatriate teachers in classroom teaching, classroom management, tutorials and problem solving•Render cooperation to expatriate teachers in delivery of teaching plans, and assistance in preparation of lesson plans and teaching materials•Render assistance in grade management and grade activities•Render assistance in communication with parents, follow up with feedback on student learning and progress•Undertake form tutor workRequirementsEducation, training and qualifications•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education or otherrelated majors •A teaching certificateKnowledge and experience •Proficient use of ICT to support learning•Experience in a school education environment is desirable•Two to three years’ work experience in a related discipline is desirablePersonal qualities•Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background•Passionate about teaching, with a strong commitment to holistic education•A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life•Responsible, collaborative, detail-minded, proactive and well organized•Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible and a great team player•Exceptionally professional, highly responsible, good at communication and learning•Demonstrate empathy, humility and genuinely care about children, taking the time to listen and motivate them•Strong passion in teaching career, recognize Harrow’s culture and education philosophyOther•Solid English language foundation with good performance in English listening, speaking, reading and writing•A non-criminal record issued by police authoritie
